Yardley London has expanded its presence in India by entering the premium air care category with the launch of Floralis, a new range of home and car fragrances under Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting.
The move marks the brand's diversification beyond personal care, leveraging its heritage in fine fragrances to tap into the growing lifestyle-driven home care market.
The Floralis portfolio includes air freshener sprays and Air Pockets inspired by Yardley's signature fragrances, including English Lavender and English Rose. The range is available through retail outlets and e-commerce platforms, with 180 ml air freshener sprays priced at Rs 169 and 10 g Air Pockets at Rs 70.
Building a Lifestyle Fragrance Portfolio
According to the company, Floralis is designed to extend Yardley's fragrance experience into everyday spaces, reflecting changing consumer preferences for products that combine functionality with premium sensory appeal. Manish Vyas, Business Head – Yardley & Enchanteur (India), said the launch represents the evolution of a heritage brand that continues to balance its legacy with the expectations of modern consumers.
The company has also outlined plans to broaden the portfolio with additional formats, including car perfumes and automatic fragrance dispensers, signalling a long-term play in the air care category.
From Personal Fragrance to Living Spaces
As premiumisation reshapes India's home care market, established personal care brands are increasingly expanding into adjacent lifestyle categories to deepen consumer engagement. For marketers, fragrance is no longer confined to personal grooming—it is becoming a broader brand experience spanning homes, cars and everyday living.
The Last Word
The next frontier for heritage beauty brands may not be new consumers, but new occasions—where fragrance evolves from a product category into a lifestyle ecosystem.
