Sony Sports Network has unveiled its 'Festival of Sports' campaign, bringing together four major sporting properties under a single festive-season umbrella across Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV. Running from August 15 to November 29, the campaign is designed to sustain audience engagement through a continuous calendar of premium live sports.
One Campaign, Four Premium Sporting Properties
The line-up begins with India's Test tour of Sri Lanka, followed by the Women's T20 Asia Cup 2026. It then shifts to the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, where India's men's and women's cricket teams will defend the gold medals won at the previous edition, before concluding with India's all-format tour of New Zealand, featuring T20Is, ODIs and Tests.
Festive Programming Meets Sports Strategy
The campaign will run across television and digital platforms, positioning live sport as a central part of India's festive viewing season. By integrating multiple cricket properties with a marquee multi-sport event, Sony is extending audience engagement beyond individual tournaments and creating a longer viewing cycle for advertisers. Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer and Business Head – Sports and International, Sony Pictures Networks India, said the campaign combines India's festive spirit with an extensive sporting calendar spanning cricket, the Asian Games and women's sport.
For brands, the strategy offers consistent visibility across more than three months instead of isolated event-based sponsorships.
The Last Word
As broadcasters increasingly package premium rights into unified marketing propositions, festive programming is evolving from seasonal campaigns into long-duration engagement platforms that maximise audience retention, advertising value and cross-platform consumption.
