RSPL Group has rolled out a new campaign for Ghadi Rapid Wash, its liquid detergent formulated specifically for bucket washing. The campaign traces the evolution of laundry practices in Indian homes, showing the shift from conventional bucket washing methods to liquid detergent solutions while reinforcing the brand proposition, 'Reshe Reshe Mein Jaata, Dhulai Farrata.'
The campaign positions Ghadi Rapid Wash as a product designed for India's large base of bucket-washing consumers. Powered by the company's Rapid Release Technology, the liquid detergent is claimed to dissolve quickly in water, penetrate fabric fibres and remove stains with reduced scrubbing effort. The product is priced at Rs 85 for a 900 ml pack.
Targeting Everyday Consumer Behaviour
Rather than competing solely on cleaning performance, RSPL is attempting to reshape consumer perceptions around bucket washing by introducing a format traditionally associated with washing machines into a manual laundry routine. According to Anuj Goyal, Senior Vice President – Sales, Marketing and Distribution, Soaps & Detergent Business, RSPL Group, the launch represents an important milestone in the company's effort to redefine bucket washing for Indian households.
Reinventing a Familiar Laundry Habit
The campaign reflects the broader premiumisation trend within India's home care market, where brands are introducing specialised product formats tailored to specific usage occasions instead of one-size-fits-all solutions.
The Last Word
The next phase of detergent innovation may not be driven by new machines, but by rethinking everyday manual routines—where convenience, affordability and format innovation can unlock the next wave of category growth.
