US-based activewear brand Fabletics is making its India debut through a long-term partnership with Reliance Brands Limited (RBL), marking another major addition to the retailer’s international fashion portfolio. The launch will begin with a dedicated India e-commerce platform and the brand’s first mono-brand store at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, followed by a second outlet in Mumbai.
Omnichannel Expansion at the Core
Under the partnership, Reliance Brands will expand Fabletics through standalone retail stores, digital commerce and experiential retail formats. Founded in Los Angeles in 2013, Fabletics today operates more than 125 retail stores globally and is known for combining performance-driven activewear with accessible pricing.
The brand has also built visibility through collaborations with personalities including Khloé Kardashian and Kevin Hart.
The India portfolio will feature men's and women's collections across training, running, yoga, Pilates and everyday movement, targeting a rapidly expanding base of health-conscious consumers.
Riding India’s Lifestyle Shift
Reliance Brands believes India’s younger consumers are increasingly integrating fitness, wellness and athleisure into everyday life, creating a strong opportunity for global performance-fashion labels. Fabletics President Meera Bhatia described India as a key market in the brand’s international expansion strategy, citing growing demand for products that balance performance, style and value.
The Last Word
As India's fitness economy matures, athleisure is evolving from a niche category into an everyday wardrobe essential. Fabletics’ entry underscores how global brands now view India not just as a retail destination, but as a strategic growth market where omnichannel experiences and lifestyle positioning will define long-term success.
