L&T Finance has rolled out a three-film integrated campaign for its gold loan business, featuring brand ambassador Jasprit Bumrah and built around the tagline, ‘Koi Bhi Sapna Hold Mat Karo, L&T Finance Gold Loan Karo’. The campaign reframes gold loans as an accessible financing option for everyday aspirations rather than emergency borrowing.
Each commercial addresses a distinct consumer need. One features Bumrah encouraging a farmer to leverage a gold loan to expand livestock, another follows a homemaker financing consumer durables, while the third showcases a kirana store owner using credit to replenish inventory. Together, the narratives underline the role of secured lending in supporting income generation and household consumption.
Campaign positions household gold as a practical financing tool
The campaign will make its debut during the India–Sri Lanka Test series, beginning August 15, where L&T Finance is the co-presenting partner. Media visibility will extend across Sony TV Broadcast Network’s nine linear television channels, supported by extensive on-ground branding during the series to maximise reach among cricket audiences.
According to Kavita Jagtiani, Chief Marketing Officer, L&T Finance, the campaign reflects the growing opportunity to transform India's vast stock of idle household gold into productive capital, helping consumers pursue aspirations while relying on an asset they already trust.
The Last Word
By combining cricket's mass reach with relatable financial use cases, L&T Finance is repositioning gold loans from a distress-driven product to an aspiration-led credit solution.
As formal lenders intensify competition in the secured lending space, education-led storytelling and contextual utility are likely to become key drivers of category growth and consumer trust.
