Flipkart has unveiled a nearly five-minute film for its upcoming Big Billion Days Sale, created by Leo. The film follows a man repeatedly transforming his life within the same 24-hour cycle, with Flipkart’s sale positioned as the catalyst.
One Film, Multiple Celebrity Moments
The cast includes Rohit Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Aditya Srivastava, Samay Raina, Geni Kamki and Agu Stanley Chiedozie, among others. The film is built from multiple micro-scenarios. Each can also work as a standalone social edit. This makes the long-format film a content library rather than a single advertising asset.
Dream11’s IPL 2025 campaign also used a large cast, including Indian cricketers and actors Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
Scale Becomes a Content Strategy
The approach continues Leo’s 2025 Flipkart sale campaign. That film featured Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Sreeleela, Farah Khan, chef Dilip and boAt’s Aman Gupta, among others. Leo chief creative officer Sachin Kamble said the latest campaign took nearly three months of writing, revisions and coordination before shooting.
The format comes as brands face shrinking attention spans. Yet long films can create greater campaign depth when designed for multiple cuts, personalities and platforms.
The Last Word
The future of long-form advertising may not be about making audiences watch longer. It may be about creating longer films that generate more short-form content.
