Stovekraft has rolled out its ‘Pigeon Onam Combotsavam’ campaign, leveraging Kerala’s biggest festive season to boost demand for cookware and kitchen appliances.
Fronted by Malayalam actor, lyricist and YouTuber Pearle Maaney, who takes on the role of ‘Combo Rani’, the campaign transforms the cultural familiarity of iconic Onam pairings into bundled product offerings designed to encourage kitchen upgrades.
The creative draws inspiration from beloved food combinations such as chai with parippu vada and puttu with kadala curry, extending the same idea to value-driven kitchen solutions.
Combo-Led Festive Retail Push
To capitalise on seasonal purchasing, Pigeon has introduced curated product bundles, including an induction cooktop with a 3-litre pressure cooker, a kitchen chimney paired with a two-burner glass cooktop, an idiyappam maker with a glass cooktop, and a non-stick tawa with an appachetty.
According to Rajendra Gandhi, Managing Director, Stovekraft, the campaign celebrates togetherness while delivering convenience and value through thoughtfully assembled product combinations. The festive offers will be available across Pigeon Exclusive Outlets and leading cookware and appliance retailers throughout Kerala during the Onam season.
The Last Word
The campaign highlights how regional festivals are evolving into high-impact retail platforms where culturally rooted storytelling meets bundled value. For consumer durable brands, hyperlocal narratives combined with product packaging innovations are increasingly becoming a strategic lever to drive festive conversions and strengthen brand affinity in regional markets.
