Asian Footwears has partnered with Indian Railways to secure the naming rights of Platforms 14, 15 and 16 at New Delhi Railway Station.
The platforms will be branded as Asian Footwears Platform 14, 15 and 16. The brand’s face, India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will feature prominently across the station environment.
Three Platforms, One Large Media Canvas
The long-term partnership gives Asian Footwears access to one of the country’s busiest transit hubs. The station records daily footfall of over 10 lakh passengers.
Branding will extend across panels, billboards, vinyl wraps, backlit displays and other experiential touchpoints. The strategy also reflects how brands are increasingly treating transit infrastructure as high-frequency media. Rather than relying on a single campaign burst, platform naming can build sustained brand recall through everyday journeys.
From Visibility to Everyday Brand Integration
For Asian Footwears, the partnership expands its consumer outreach beyond conventional advertising spaces. The scale of the station creates repeated exposure across a highly diverse commuter base. It includes consumers from metro cities, Tier 2 towns and rural markets.
The Dhoni association adds another layer to the property. His presence connects the physical media environment with a familiar national sporting personality.
The Last Word
The bigger opportunity for Asian Footwears lies beyond naming rights. Turning a high-footfall transit space into an always-on brand environment could make physical media a recurring part of the consumer journey.
